If you don't want the cart to auto-open when a customer adds an item to cart, you can do this within 'advanced settings' at the bottom of your cart.
From the Unicorn cart dashboard menu, open the cart and scroll to the bottom of the settings:
Then click on 'advanced settings' which will open another page:
Uncheck the 'auto open cart' and save.
