Cart Block Scheduling lets you schedule any individual block to turn live or be set to hidden at a specific date and time, so you can run mid-sale offers, banners, or upsells without manually toggling blocks or juggling multiple carts.
🧠 Pro Tip: Running a 24-hour promo? Set your start time and end time to the same hour on consecutive days (e.g. 7am to 7am) so the block turns off automatically without you needing to check back.
🛠️ How to Set It Up
Go to a cart settings page for an existing cart or create a new cart .
Select the cart block you want to schedule or add a new cart block to the cart.
Set up your cart block as normal filling out the settings.
Scroll to the bottom of the cart block's settings page. You'll see the Block Scheduling box.
Open the Block Scheduling settings by clicking the down arrow on the right hand side if it is closed.
To schedule the cart block to go live check the tick box "Schedule when this block goes live", then set the Date, Time Zone, and Starts at Time.
Decide whether to leave the block on indefinitely, or check the box "Schedule when this block gets hidden" to set when the block will be hidden - set the Date, Time Zone, and Ends at Time.
Click Save. The cart block will now go live and/or be set to hidden automatically at the times you set.
If the block is already live and you want to schedule it to be hidden you can just check the box "Schedule when this block gets hidden" and set an date and time.
Once scheduled, head back to the cart settings page. You will now see the cart block is marked as scheduled with an orange tag. This indicates it is scheduled to either go live or be hidden in the future.
